A photographic
developer develops photographs. An Insight Developer develops
insights, in much the same way.
When a photo
image is developed there is a process. The
lens traps images in particles. The exposed film is then washed in a
reducing agent, with just the right mix of temperature, agitation and
time. A stop agent then fixes the exposed image. The complete picture
captured by the particles can then be developed, emerging into sharp
focus on the page with final clarity.
What do you
do when all of your ideas are locked up in a box and you can't get them
out? To create clear insights also takes a process. The process is much
the same, only using consideration, not chemicals. An
insight is a deep understanding of a hidden truth. Using a process to
reveal our deeper understanding is the Insight Developer's role.
When done well,
we are often surprised, finding images that have both clarity of focus
and perspective, accurately capturing the unique insights we seek, that
were previously hidden.
